Stepping out into an adventure with God

Phil’s journey began with early adventures in church planting—from Boston to Paris—followed by years of intense study that led to a doctorate in New Testament Studies. That hard work opened the door to a meaningful academic career at a local Christian university, eventually leading him to serve as Director of Biblical and Theological Studies. Life was stable, fruitful, and full.

But then God spoke. He asked Phil and his wife Jolene to lay everything on the altar—not figuratively, but literally: the career, the salary, the home, the security. In return, He offered a new adventure.

Phil and Jolene said yes.

Today, they serve in full‑time international ministry, training church leaders and making disciples around the world.
