Who we are
Ville Lumière - Paris Ministries is a US registered 501-c3 not-for-profit corporation dedicated to supporting the Christian church in the francophone world and beyond. We offer spiritual resources for the benefit of all Christians.
We are a team of teachers called to offer biblical instruction across the globe. Our mission is to equip church leaders with solid biblical training so they, in turn, can teach and serve their local communities effectively (2 Tim 2:1).
Our vision is to help evangelize the francophone world, foster unity across Christian traditions, and equip leaders for faithful ministry—locally and globally.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that humanity was created good and upright. However, humanity, as male and female, by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.
We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful people is essential, and comes only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
We believe that every believer should live a sanctified life which is characterized by separation from evil and dedication to God.
We believe that every believer can and should experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit (also called the baptism in the Holy Spirit) as promised by Jesus in Acts 1.4-5, 8, which empowers the church for witness and a ministry characterized by signs and wonders. This fullness of the Spirit is initially evidenced by speaking in tongues and is followed with an empowered life.
We believe that the ordinances of the Church are water baptism and Holy Communion. All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. All believers take part in Holy Communion as an expression of the unity of the body of Christ, a remembrance of his suffering, and a looking forward to his return.
We believe in the second coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
